Mrs. V's Steamed Whole Green Beans & Red Peppers
Ingredients
1 pound fresh green beans
1 large red bell pepper cut into long strips
2 tablespoons olive oil
Cracked Sea Salt
Cracked Pepper
Directions
· Wash green beans and red pepper.
· Snap ends off green beans and leave beans whole
· Core and de-seed red pepper and cut into long strips
· Place beans and peppers into steamer
· Once steamer starts to boil, steam veggies for 25 minutes (the beans are a crisp tender at this point if you like them softer steam to your preference)
Place steamed beans and peppers in a bowl, toss with olive oil and add cracked sea salt and cracked pepper to your taste.
