Mrs. V's Creamed Cilantro Chicken
Ingredients
6 boneless skinless chicken thighs
1 can (10.5 oz) can creamed chicken soup
1/3 cup milk = 5 tablespoons
3 tablespoons sour cream
¼ cup chopped cilantro
4 tablespoons chopped chives
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt
Cracked Pepper
Garlic Powder
Directions
· Place chicken thighs in a medium skillet (with lid)
· Sprinkle salt, pepper and some garlic powder on chicken to taste/your liking
· In small mixing bowl add cream of chicken, sour cream, milk, 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder and salt and pepper to taste. With wire whip mix real well until smooth
· Pour sauce over top of chicken and cover
· On medium high heat bring to a boil then drop down to medium low and simmer 25 minutes
· Sprinkle cilantro into skillet the last 10 minutes before chicken is done
· Plate chicken then garnish with some chopped chives
